I was going to colour this batgirl lineart for comicartcorrection’s blog contest but

oh god

why is colouring so tedious

so I started working on a gen v version of a namine walksprite

also I fixed the other one up a little

ok so I think we can all agree that this is not amazing

BUT

I think we can all also agree that as my first ever effort at this style of pokemon OW sprite editing, it is not too terrible. (this style, meaning I did a few of the OW sprites for the pokemon tcg rom hack ger and I were putting together last year and then abandoned because omg rom hacks are hard;;)

I’ve thrown this into rpg maker xp and it actually works fairly okay! the back is terrible though haha! I got kinda super tired around that point and half-assed it sigh. I was going to like, animate it or w/e so you guys can see how it looks when it’s moving, but wow. gimp hates me. so no

OH BTW I believe this was a lass sprite when I began!

so there’s this point and click flash game I want to make for kongregate but I keep being way too lazy to learn flash.

(these are the main characters, btw! rookie cop lady is your support character, giving you help and tips and stuff, and sidekick lady is the character you play as)

so I got all geared up to do a button-jointed umbreon plush and then I started daydreaming about a kanaya ragdoll that you could dress up

okay so I started planning out this v silly pokemon fangame, wherein your aim is to become a Pokemon Hero! to do so you need to like go around to each town to gain the approval of the local Hero. once they’re all backing you, you can go to the Hero League and try to become an official Hero. also there are a few sort of side plots and stuff going on (kidnapped pokemon! a mysterious Hero from your past! etc)

and anyway there are going to be a few “starter” pokemon (your starter is really your Hero Pokemon! they’re always part of your team, but most importantly, they have Hero Abilities (you and your Hero Pokemon get Abilities after each Town Hero approves you) that you need to get through the game), and the one you pick will decide your outfit! 

I’m going the pokemon ranger route with starters, and making them all (eventually) available through quests. so in the end you’ll be able to swap to whatever outfit you want

anyway I’ve not yet totally decided on all the starters (apart from these four, I also have gligar, golett, sneasel, natu, shuppet, and minccino in my little notepad file, and idk if I really want to keep any of them!), and these outfits are totally wip, but w/e I thought I’d post them anyway :)

so here are my ten hemospectrum-ordered sgrub players :) the doodles are pretty shitty (I literally scrawled one base, then traced them all on top of that) but they were mostly for me just to work out their designs, so wtf/e.
